  9. 2 cup whole wheat flour
  10. 1 teaspoon salt
  11. 1 teaspoon sugar
  12. 3/4 cup water
  13. As needed Ghee for roasting

Instructions to make to make Puran poli

  1. Put chana daal with 2 cups of water in a cooker and bring 5-6 whistles (untill cooked) on medium flame.
  2. When chana daal cool completely, put a pan on gas add 1 teaspoon of ghee add black pepper powder, cardamom powder and cinnamon powder stir well now add cooked chana daal and mix well now add jaggery and sugar.
  3. Now mix all together in high flame untill mixture get ticker. Switch off gas and put mixture for rest to cool down completely. Our puran is ready.
  4. Mix all ingredients for making dough add 1/2 cup of water and knead well until we get soft dough. Dough is ready.
  5. After 10 minutes take dough and make medium size balls. Take one ball and flatten it now put some puran middle of it and bring all sides together and make a ball again. Roll a paratha with the help of rolling to desired size.
  6. Cook on medium flame till golden brown and crispy. Serve hot with ghee and puran (if you like).
