Instructions to make to make Sev ke parantha
- Knead a soft atta like we do for normal roti with ingredients listed under "For dough". After kneading grease the dough with some ghee or oil and cover and keep for about 20 minutes.
- Mix all the ingredients listed under "For filling" in a bowl and keep aside.
- Take a guava sized ball of a dough and roll out a small circle using a rolling pin and by using dry atta.
- Place 2 tbsp of the filling and pleat the edges of the dough to form a pouch.
- Flatten the dough using, your hands to ensure the filling is spread evenly.
- Roll it out not too thin but not too thick either. While rolling out use less pressure so that filling doesn't come out.
- Heat a tawa and apply some oil and allow it to heat up for about 2 minutes. Place the parantha and let it cook.
- Roast the parantha on both sides and apply ghee while roasting.
- Serve it hot with butter / chutney / raita.
