- Chokha
- 1 bharta baigan roasted direct on fire
- 3-5 boiled potatoes
- 3-4 tomatoes roasted on fire using wire rack
- 1 chopped onion
- 2-3 green chilli
- as per taste Salt
- as per taste Black salt
- 1/2 tbsp jeera powder
- as per taste Amchur powder
- 2 tsp Lime juice
- 2 tsp mustard oil hot
Instructions to make to make Litti Chokha
- Knead litti dough by mixing all ingredients from litti dough section. Make smooth dough as chapati dough. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
- Litti stuffing - mix all ingredients from stuffing section. (Don't use oil now) first taste and check if stuffing taste is perfect then pour hot oil & give a good mix.
- Now take small ball size dough and make like half chapati by hands only.
- Now keep one spoon from stuffing and close it. Make sure no hole is there in litti.
- Roast them or bake it. I used appe maker to roast.
- Grease baigan & tomatoes then Roast baigan & tomatoes on fire.
- Boil potatoes. Peel tomatoes, baigan and potatoes.
- Now mix all ingredients from chokha section (don't use oil now) first taste and check if chokha taste is perfect then pour hot oil & give a good mix.
- Dip litti in hot ghee and serve with green chutney and chokha.. Enjoy super delicious Litti Chokha!!!
