  3. 1 cup maida

  5. 1/2 tsp ajwain
  6. 3/4 cup oil

  8. 1/4 tsp garam masala
  9. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  10. Dhania Filling
  11. 200 gms - Fresh Dhania(coriander leaves)
  12. 2 tbsp - Khus khus(Poppy seeds)
  13. 2 tbsp - Til(Seasame seeds)
  14. 3/4cup- dessicated coconut
  15. As needed Oil
  16. 1/2 tsp - Jeera
  17. 1/2 - hing
  18. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  19. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  20. 1/4 tsp - Garam Masala
  21. 2 1/2 tsp - Dhania Powder
  22. as per taste Salt
  23. 1/2 tsp- haldi
  24. 1/4 cup - Moongfali(groundnuts)
  25. 1/4 tsp - kaju(cashew nuts)

Instructions to make to make Kadhi Patodi

  1. Take besan a and maida in a parat and mix them well.
  2. To that add salt, ajwain, garam masala,red chilli powder and mix it well.
  3. Now take 3/4 cup oil in a pan and heat it on high flame for 5-6 mins.
  4. Now add this hot oil to the flour.It should be like it's bubbling while flour. It make the patodi crisp.
  5. Now mix the oil well with a spoon or spatula.
  6. Now knead a soft dough using water.
  7. Now for making filling take some oil in pan, to that oil add jeera and hing.
  8. Now to that add red chilli powder, haldi, dhania powder, Garam Masala and ginger garlic paste
  9. Saute all masala well now keeping the flame low add crushed Moongfali.
  10. Also add chopped cashewnuts and mix everything well.
  11. Also add khus khus and til and the desicated coconut.
  12. Mix everything well and keep that mixture aside.
  13. In a kadhai take 200 gms of chopped dhania and roast it until it's water content reduces
  14. Roast dhania on a medium- high flame stirring continuously.
  15. Now when the water content of dhania reduces water add it to the prepared masala.
  16. Roast it for 5 mins on a medium flame.
  17. Now take we will start making patodi.
  18. For that take some dough, roll it under rolling pin.
  19. To that add a tbsp of prepared dhania mixture.
  20. Now apply water to the edges of patori and seal it.
  21. Fry patodi on a low-medium golden brown amd crisp.
