  15. For Chocolate Glaze:
  16. 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  17. 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  18. 4 tbsp milk
  19. 2 tbsp Melted butter
  20. 2 drops Vanilla essence (OPTIONAL)

Instructions to make to make Homemade Donuts

  1. In a bowl, add yeast, warm milk, flour and mix well. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes. (Add 1st part dough ingredients)
  2. After that, in another bowl, add warm milk, yeast and mix. Then add the flour-yeast mixture (of 1st part), salt, sugar, vanilla essence, egg yolk and beat well.
  3. Add butter and gradually add flour. Knead well to form soft dough. Cover and keep in fridge for about 1 & 1/2 hour or until doubles in size.
  4. Knead dough again and make a ball. Roll out dough into round shape with rolling pin. Cut with donut cutter (if you don't have one, you can cut with any mug and the middle hole with a cap of any bottle).
  5. Deep fry donuts on each side until light golden brown. Keep the flame on medium.
  6. Chocolate glaze: In a saucepan, add milk, butter, sugar, vanilla essence, cocoa powder and keep stirring on low heat until sauce thickens.
  7. Dip donuts from one side into chocolate glaze and decorate with colorful sprinkles or chocolate chips as you want! 😊
