- Add masoor dal with little amount of water in a pressure cooker for one whistle on medium high flame.
- Heat oil in a pan, add onion, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder. Fry for one minute. Add pressure cooked masoor dal, amchur powder salt and garam masala, mix well. Fry for 2 minutes on medium flame. Turn off the flame. Stuffing is ready.
- Take a bowl, add all the flour, sooji, ghee, salt, mix well. Add a little amount of water to make the dough soft. Rest for 10 mins.
- Make small balls, roll it and fill the stuffing. Sealed from all the sides, roll it in poori shape.
- Heat oil in a kadhai for deep frying. Put raw stuffed poori in the hot oil. Fry on medium-high flame till golden brown and crispy. Masoor dal ki kachori is ready to serve with mithi chutney. Enjoy!!!
